Tommy Edison has been blind since his birth, but it doesn’t prevent him from using a mobile app “Instagram”, Mashable writes. “It’s sort of fun for me, I have never had a camera before”, – says Tommy in his YouTube-video.
In the video Edison explains, how he uses Instagram – how he takes a picture, edits, adds a description to it, and posts on Instagram. Edison can’t see the pictures he makes, and not all of them are good, but the people who comment tell him what they see in them.
Thanks to the special settings on Edison’s iPhone, Siri can read aloud everything he touches – from applications and Instagram filters to submit buttons in social networks. Edison adds descriptions of the pictures with the help of speech recognition function.
You can view Edison’s pictures on his Instagram account blindfilmcritic.
Apart from this, Edison has its own channel on YouTube, where he tells funny stories from a blind man’s life; he talks about how he cooks and other stuff.
