GlobusPlus is a mobile application of Globus Bank.
The Globus Bank team approached Promodo with the task of increasing organic traffic to their website, where users could learn about the GlobusPlus application, discover its features, download it, apply for a card, and more.
The banking industry is characterized by high competition, market regulation, and legislative requirements: the sector is highly controlled. These peculiarities influence both the substance of the content and the approach to its creation. The task is complicated: it's necessary to adhere to rules while providing users with information expertly, clearly, and without excessive formality.
At the start of our SEO promotion, the GlobusPlus website had recently launched, and organic traffic was less than 1,000 sessions per month. To grow organic search rankings, it was first necessary to ensure the website's technical optimization, and only then move on to implementing solutions to increase app downloads.
Considering the specifics of the client's niche—a fintech product website with a limited number of pages and clear content creation requirements—it was important to choose the optimal promotion strategy.
The solution was to create a blog as the main source of relevant organic traffic.

We started with a detailed technical SEO audit of the website, as organic traffic growth is impossible without a solid technical foundation. The audit helped us identify critical errors that negatively impacted the site's indexing and the rankings of commercial pages in Google search results.
Based on the audit, we prepared a technical task which we passed on to the client's development team. They managed to implement the changes quickly – thanks to this, the site became accessible to search engines, and therefore to potential customers.

But SEO also relies on another component—content. So, the next step was developing a content strategy.
We based it on creating a blog—a section that would allow us to regularly publish useful, informative content tailored to user queries.
Given the specifics of GlobusPlus as a mobile application website in the Fintech niche, creating and developing a blog was the optimal solution. Commercial pages simply can't cover all the queries of potential clients, who often look for practical information, like how to apply for a card, use cashback, transfer funds, or participate in a government program.
Therefore, the content strategy had a clear goal: not just to attract users, but to drive relevant traffic and convert it into app downloads and target actions on the site.
What we did:
To select topics, we used the Ahrefs tool, specifically the Keyword Difficulty (KD) metric. This allowed us to find queries with high demand and low competition that could quickly deliver the desired results.
Technical SEO optimization allowed for a rapid improvement in website visibility in search results—especially for commercial pages.
In August, the share of keywords in the TOP-10 was only 5.67%, while by December, it had already grown to 15.43%.
The blog became an effective growth point for GlobusPlus, precisely because of it, the site showed stable improvement in search visibility. Optimized blog articles regularly land in the TOP-10, many of them securing first positions, and some even appearing in featured snippets (the zero position in Google's search results).
Thanks to search optimization, the website's organic traffic increased by 16,782% in 9 months (from March to December 2024). Notably, 95% of this traffic came from the blog, confirming the effectiveness of the chosen content strategy.
The number of target actions on the website also grew, with the total increase in conversions in 2024 reaching 1810%.
The blog became a significant source of conversions: 56% of all transitions to app downloads came directly from informational articles. This proves that content not only
drives traffic but also directly contributes to business goals.
This case study demonstrates that even a new website can grow rapidly through a well-thought-out SEO strategy and systematic content work.
